# Geographic restrictions

> Jurisdiction gating and region policies on ezpz.fi.

Prediction markets are regulated differently around the world. ezpz.fi applies **geographic restrictions** to comply with applicable laws. Restrictions may vary by product vertical.

## What you may see

| Experience                      | Meaning                                         |
| ------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| **Full access**                 | Browse and trade all available products         |
| **Browse-only**                 | View markets; some or all trading CTAs disabled |
| **Redirect to restricted page** | Trading unavailable in your jurisdiction        |

If you are redirected to [ezpz.fi/restricted](https://ezpz.fi/restricted), trading is not available in your region. Browse-only access may still work for some content.

## Product-level gating

Restrictions are not always all-or-nothing. ezpz.fi may gate specific verticals:

| Product                      | Typical gating                                        |
| ---------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| **Sports**                   | Often restricted in regulated jurisdictions           |
| **Crypto (Limit/Market)**    | May remain available when sports is restricted        |
| **Crypto (1-Tap / Up-Down)** | May be restricted separately (high-velocity products) |
| **Pump.fun**                 | Follows maker-market rules + region policy            |
| **Parlays**                  | Follows sports restrictions (soccer legs)             |

When restricted, trade buttons show as **disabled** with a tooltip explaining the policy. A **region indicator** may appear in the header.

## Before you trade

* Confirm you are legally permitted to use prediction markets in your jurisdiction
* Check whether your region allows the specific product you want to trade
* Do not attempt to circumvent geoblocking with VPNs if prohibited by terms of service

## Why restrictions exist

Geographic gating supports compliance with:

* Local gambling and prediction-market laws
* Sanctions and export controls
* Anti-money laundering (AML) requirements
* Platform licensing obligations
